Any tips on how to prepare for the wedding photos?
The timeline Sarah prepares is very on point and it’s very important to be ready to roll when she is ready!! She keeps the day very organized and keeps the day rolling, it’s great having someone tell you where to be and what time! She’s very organized!

How long was your engagement & how long did you have to plan your wedding?
Our engagement was 7 months we started planning right away! Getting the big stuff out of the way ASAP is good to do, a lot of the other smaller things fall into place and the months go on! And most of the planning has to go into effect the week of! Just be patient!

Were you nervous walking down the aisle?
I sure was! I was more nervous about how my dad felt than I was to get married! We had a first look which helped immensely with the hype and brought down so much anxiety!! Made the day just fall into place after that!

What was your favorite moment(s) from your wedding day? Why?
Our First Look! Eric was emotional when he saw me for the first time in my wedding dress and it was so sweet.

If you had a bridal party, why did you choose who you chose?
I chose my forever best friend as my MOH because I did not have a sister, and I chose my 2 sisters in laws, and 2 more forever friends, as well. It is hard to pick whether you pick family, friends, sisters, ect. Just take your time picking, but also remember that it is YOUR day and you get to choose what you want and there is no explanation needed!

How would you describe your overall wedding day experience?
Other than it went SO fast and it was a blur! It was amazing and beautiful, just a magical day all around! It went smooth, and we just rolled with it, there are things that won’t go as planned but there’s no reason to fuss and get upset, enjoy every second it goes so fast! So glad I had such an amazing photographer to capture all the magic and to have all the amazing pictures to remember our special day!

What advice would you offer to other couples planning a wedding?
Research prices have a few options of everything and meet face to face with your vendors! Some things you can cut corners on! People won’t remember the little things, save your money for the important things like the music, food, and photographer!! It is WELL worth it! I am so glad I spent the money I did on a photographer!

Tell me about the wedding dress.
I chose the simplest dress! I added a sash for bling! I am a very simple girl and it was exactly what the dress was, but it was SO beautiful. It was all lace and a simple zipper. There was no train on the dress and it was very stretchy- it was so comfortable! I loved it!

Did anything go wrong on your wedding day?
Not really go wrong I would say, our wedding and reception was outside, and it did rain, but we just moved things around and we got all of the important dances and such out of the way before the rain let loose, no one seemed to care, everyone was easy going and just hid under the tent we had! It cleared up and we had a full rainbow, which I have never seen before, made it all worth it! I think we had the best of luck wishes with it!
